Big Black Pot

Recorded in 2000 (approximately) in an apartment in Honeoye Falls, NY. Nothing in this is my original work, only the “assembly”. Very low tech attempt at mixing involving tape deck, turntable and once again a Tascam 424.

Fool

This one was recorded in 1995 in a college house in Oswego, NY. This was recorded with a Tascam 424 direct to the tracks. There is a Casio PT-80 used for the rhythm track and any key noises. The effects overall were probably all from an Alesis Micoverb. The bass is a cheapo Ibanez and the guitar a Mexican Fender strat. Any sounds not captured direct were likely caught with the crappy mic (Cable One??) that came with the four track.

In terms of the song I am not sure where the lyrics came from, might’ve been a scrawling in some steno pad at the time. I like that it is not very long.

Here is a track recorded in 1997 in my apartment. The subject was some co-workers I had at the time. It was recorded direct into my Tascam 424 and I used a Boss Flanger pedal. It is one of the worst songs I ever recorded and thought it would be perfect for the Whore’s Eggs collection. Enjoy!
