This one was recorded in about 2000. Same instruments as usual. There is no significance to the title other than to go along with a video collage I put together for it.
Instrumental I recorded around 2002 in Honeoye Falls, NY. The instruments: Toy drum set, guitar, bass, Crumar synthesizer. I tried recording a vocal track as part of a series of songs I was going to record about working at a convenient store. I cannot locate the vocal mix, but you aren’t really missing anything.
This was recorded on my Tascam 424 in summer 1995 in Oswego, NY. I remember the day being very hot and I think I had just gotten done working at the convenient store. The instrument you hear is a Crumar DS-1. The AM radio waves were from some old boom box that was left behind in the house I lived in. I think it was also piped through an old ripped up stereo speaker (for some reason). Not all that interesting I just like the AM radio snippets and that fact that it reminds me of summer.
This one was recorded about 2002 on a Tascam 424 (surprise) in my apartment in Honeoye Falls, NY. It was inspired (somehow) by Bruce Dickenson. I found the lyrics in an old notebook when I was looking for something to sing over the track I had recorded. The instruments are guitar, bass and toy drums. I posted this on my myspace page and a neighbor of mine heard it when we moved to Delmar, NY. He recorded an instrumental version. It’s pretty wacky because it is better than anything I have ever recorded and he probably whipped it together in a few minutes. Thanks John!! Check out his myspace he has some songs up there:
